Viral Video: Mostly, when people park their cars in a pretty much secured area, they hardly pay any heed to the text ‘parking at owner’s risk’ printed on the parking chit. Vehicles are supposed to be safe in a secured and gated area after all. However, something opposite happened to this man who ended up regretting leaving his car at the parking area of the Delhi airport, as not only did the fare leave a hole in his pockets but his car also ended up receiving significant damage. Taking to social media, the man shared a video showing a bill of Rs 5,770 for parking his car at the airport. He then moved on to show the damages his car received, where one of his car’s door handles was broken, while the other side of the vehicle was severely scratched.
Needless to say, the clip went viral and left people reacting. Most people tagged the authorities and demanded answers and action, while the rest sympathised with the man. A few also suggested going for more secure parking or Ola/Uber for the future. As the video went viral, the X handle of the Delhi Airport also responded to it.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘tradeinn_’. The post was captioned, “It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Their tagline is “safe and secure” bullshit @DelhiAirport.” The post was shared a while back and pulled many views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “If you are travelling by air again in future, park your car at any no parking area and after return pays the challan and take back your car. By the way, ola/uber is best,” a user said. “They display the parking fees boldly so I guess you already knew it was going to come to around 5000. But at 600 you would expect the car to remain safe and dent-free in the Airport of the National Capital,” added another.
“This is the negligence of the parking staff. Check the CCTV footage. Seek legal help at a consumer court. Though you have received a reply from the airport authority so plz do as they are asking. Hope you will get justice,” added another. “Hope you got connected with the concerned person,” commented another.
