Man's Remark On Flight's Middle Seat, Its Low Status And Safety Risks For Women Goes Viral

A viral video shared by a man starts with him stating, “Middle seats on flights are low status. And it’s not because they are cheap.” He then shares an incident where a female friend chose to pay 700 bucks extra for an aisle seat instead of taking a free middle seat. When he asked why, she explained that it made her feel safer. He adds, “For me, a middle seat is just uncomfortable, but for her, it’s the risk of being stuck between two men for two hours.”

He further questions, “When I am paying extra for a seat, I am paying for comfort, but a girl pays for safety? More comfort for more money makes sense, but should there be a price for more safety?
