India might be the most populous country, but a majority of people, unfortunately, surely seem to be against ‘love’. No, that’s not us assuming the worst, but it's the social media itself which is full of such stories and incidents, where people find it hard to even do something as simple as ‘meeting’ on the day dedicated to love; Valentine’s Day. Experiencing something similar, a man came up with a unique idea to dodge it all.
The said man ordered something from Blinkit for his girlfriend. However, the poor couple was not able to meet because the girl’s parents were not allowing her to leave their house. So coming up with a wholesome request, the man asked the Blinkit delivery agent if he himself could deliver the order instead. However, the company was quick to fall into the wrong side of the public, after the delivery agent refused the adorable request.
A post with a screenshot of the man’s chat with the delivery agent was shared online, which went viral on the internet.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘letsblinkit’. The post was captioned, “Sorry we can't.”

The post, soon after getting shared on social media, went viral in no time. Most people expressed their disappointment over the brand not helping out the man, while the rest felt bad for the man with the request. Some also called the entire thing a ‘publicity stunt’. The post was shared today and pulled 304K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “People are taking this as real. The entire conversation happened at 1:01 pm... No time lag,” a user said. “Not fair, you should help him,” said a second person. “Surprise delivery partner - Looks good business idea, poor #Blinkit missed it,” joined a third person.
“Do it now, you have invaded his privacy and shared it with the public,” commented a fourth person. “To make it look more real, the time stamps could have been slightly varying in minutes,” said another. “Let him cook bruh. Either way, you're going to mint impressions. At least let both sides win,” added a sixth person.
“That's a heartbreaking reply.. maybe he just accompanies your guy and does the delivery,” said a seventh person. “Petition for his application. +1,” said another.
