Mumbai Rain Viral Video: Heavy rains lashed Mumbai on Tuesday, dumping over 60 mm of water and turning busy streets into flooded messes. Santacruz topped the charts with 62 mm, while Colaba recorded 23 mm, leading to chaos caught on camera and shared widely online. One viral video showed garbage floating through waterlogged roads, disrupting traffic and frustrating commuters. The clip was shared by X handle @mumbaimatterz with the comment, “OMG …. This is SakiNaka…It’s a Pathetic Sight…But better than Singapore for some.”
Quick to act, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Ward-L team responded, “Labours and machinery were immediately deployed to stop the overflow, and traffic was restored. The desilting work is being carried out by the SWD deptt. Thanks for interacting with us!” Cleanup efforts continue to restore order and keep the city moving.
