The theory that 'if cats wanted to take over the world, they would have done it, and then would have got bored of it right after the takeover', is more like a ‘fact’ to people who love cats- that’s how much adoration cat people carry for these furry felines. Probably belonging to the same category, a cat owner and their missing cat, Cheeku, are going viral on social media for a reason that cat people found relatable. In order to find the furry one, the owner put up posters in several places in Noida. However, what made the poster popular was the reward offered; Rs 1 lakh. As soon as the post went viral, people began to talk about missing Cheeku and expressed their admiration for the owner for giving all in, to finding the lost pet. 

The post was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘lavelybakshi’. The post was captioned, “An interesting news came out from Noida. An owner has announced a huge reward for anyone who finds the cat. Cat Malik has put up posters at various places in the city giving information about the disappearance of his pet. He has been asked to contact by giving a number on the poster. Cat Malik says that if someone finds his stomach, he will be given a reward of one lakh. After this poster was put up, the missing cat is being discussed everywhere.”

The post immediately went viral and turned out to be related to many cat lovers. Most people loved the cat and wished all the luck to the owner in finding the furry friend, while the rest loved the way the owner was going out of the way to get their cat back. The post was shared today and pulled hundreds of likes from netizens.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “As a cat person, I find it one of the most relatable cat missing posters,” a user said. “I loved the way the owner is completely in to give all the money for their missing furry friend,” added a second person. “Can only imagine the pain the owner must be going through if they are ready to give that kind of money for their pet. I hope the cat is safely back with the owner,” commented a third user. “This is too cute to miss. I would have done something similar (depending on the money I have),” added next. 

“We need to know if the cat is back with the owner. Please, someone. Is the cat back? Is the cat safe?” asked another admirer. “This is adorable,” joined the next.
