Pakistani social media influencer Hareem Shah on Chandrayaan-3: As soon as ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 touched the Moon’s surface on August 23, India received a flood of congratulatory reactions from the rest of the world. But our neighbours, Pakistan, had a different take on India's major feat. Reactions by Pakistanis taking a dig at India’s Moon mission filled social media, but one reaction in particular recently made headlines.

Pakistani social media influencer Hareem Shah shared a questionable X (formerly Twitter) post on Chandrayaan-3. She asked India to prioritise building more toilets in the country. But the whole thing took a 180-degree turn after Indian netizens trolled her on the matter. India became the first and the only country to reach the Moon’s South Pole after ISRO’s Vikram Lander Module soft-landed at the lunar surface on Tuesday.

“Modi Government spent millions of dollars to send the #Chandrayaan3 mission to the moon, but it would have been BETTer if they had used the same money to build toilets all over India. Get your priorities right,” Shah’s X post read.

Taking over the social media personality’s post, netizens flooded it with befitting reactions.

“We have toilets, madam,” wrote a user and shared a picture of Pakistan.

“You are right...he could have done this as well,” wrote a second.

“We have a toilet attached right beside us We call it Pakistan Keep coping and seething,” said a third.

“India created the world's biggest toilet way back in 1947, it's called Pakistan,” commented a fourth.

“In 1947 we made the biggest Toilet in the world called Pakistan and flushed all the waste there on 14 Aug 1947,” said another. “We already built the toilet in 1947 i.e. Pakistan,” said one more.
