Rakesh Roshan on Moon: The entire country broke out in joy after ISRO’s 'Chandrayaan 3' successfully landed on the Moon on August 23. From netizens to prominent personalities, everyone spoke about the great achievement and congratulated the country and the ISRO team. But some reactions, especially by political leaders, stood out the most. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was one of the leaders who made headlines after a huge goof-up on the topic. The chief minister, while addressing the success, confused Bollywood personality Rakesh Roshan with astronaut Rakesh Sharma and said that Indira Gandhi had a conversation with Rakesh Roshan when he was on the Moon. The CM was referring to the time when Rakesh Sharma was in space, not the Moon, and lauded India after Indira Gandhi asked him about how India looks from space.

"I remember when they reached the moon, Indira Gandhi asked Rakesh Roshan how India looked from there, for space," the leader was heard saying at an event.

The entire thing turned out hilarious and the netizen quickly took the chance to troll the leader. Now, memes and reactions have filled the internet over the same.

“Under the able leadership of Mamata Banerjee congratulations to Rakesh Roshan on becoming Astronaut,” said a second user.

“Hrithik Roshan after he came to know that his father Rakesh Roshan had once gone in space,” commented another user with a video of the actor dancing.

“Had no clue Indira ji had this conversation with Rakesh Roshan! Thank you, Didi ((Sometimes this hatred for our current achievements & attempt to glorify one family can have funny repercussions),” said a fourth.

“Mamata Banerjee: "When Rakesh Roshan Landed on the Moon, Indira Gandhi called him.. #Chandrayaan3 Ley Hrithik Roshan” wrote a fifth.
