Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev Undergoes Brain Surgery: Followers of much-preached spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, along with the rest of the world, were in for a shock as the yoga teacher was admitted to Deilh’s Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. As per the statement released by the doctors, Sadhguru underwent an emergency brain surgery, after it was found out that he was suffering from a ‘life-threatening’ skull bleeding. The statement was released on March 20, after the surgery was performed. As soon as the news of Sadhguru's surgery went online, his followers began to flood social media with their prayers and wishes for the man’s speedy recovery.
According to the hospital, Sadhguru was suffering from headaches for the last 4 weeks. However, despite expert advice, he continued with his daily activities and schedule. He, in fact, conducted a Maha Shivaratri event on March 8.
Sadhguru, on the other hand, posted an update on his health from the hospital bed on March 20, the video of which went viral.
“The Apollo hospital neurosurgeons cut through my skull and tried to find something but found nothing; totally empty. So they gave up and patched it up. Here I am in Delhi with the patched-up skull, but no damaged brain,” he was heard saying in the video.

“Hospitals and doctors shouldn’t be putting out patient images and diagnosis and comments in public. It is a violation or breach of patient confidentiality, even if it is a well known person and someone one doesn’t like or respect,” said a sixth person.
