Viral Video: Apart from wanting to make snow angels and have snowball fights while donning multiple layers of jackets, have you ever imagined what would happen to you if you wet your hair in a freezing ‘below 0’ temperature? Well, if your answer is a sane ‘no’, you can carry on with your day, but if your answer is a curious ‘yes’, then this video is for you. A Swedish Influencer, Elvira Lundgren, decided to do an insane experiment with her hair in Northern Sweden’s freezing temperature; -30 degrees celsius. For the experiment, the woman went out and wet her hair, which resulted in something that weird no one expected, despite it being the obvious result- her hair froze like a hairy ‘ice crown’. A video of her playing around with her new ‘crown’ was shared on social media, which immediately went viral.
Apart from the frozen hair, the other thing that caught everyone’s attention was that the woman did the entire experiment while wearing no gloves or hat.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram (formerly Twitter), on the handle ‘exploring.human’.

The video went viral as people had a lot to react to. Most expressed their concern for the woman’s health, her head and hands in particular, while the rest were amazed that she managed to stand out for so long while wearing the bare minimum of the winter outfit. The video was shared seven days ago and had 147K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Did your mother never tell you that you’ll get your death of cold going out with wet hair like that?!!” a user wrote. “Did she get sick the next day? No gloves, no hat for so long at -30,” added another. “It's a serious way of getting short hair,” said another. “Hey, people you should be a little more cultivated… or at least curios : u can run outside completely naked and you will NOT be sick. Only bacteria or viruses are responsible for a cold, but never the climate. the cold weakens but does not make you sick,” added a fourth person.
“How can you possibly have no gloves and no hat on at -30,” added next. “How are her hands not freezing and hurting ????” added next.
