In a world where ‘reward’ in exchange for even the tiniest bit of service is all what people think about, ‘helping’ out someone without expecting a favour is pretty much a case too rare. However, putting back some hope for humanity, a Swiggy delivery agent won the internet with something adorably thoughtful. Taking to social media, an internet user shared about a recent incident, where she was unable to go to the medical store to buy period pain medicine, because of the unbearable pain itself. Resorting to the food that she ordered from Swiggy, she instead asked the delivery man if he could bring the pill.
Luckily for the woman, the man was sweet enough to also deliver a period pain medicine to the woman’s door, along with her food. The woman was then quick to share about the incident as she thanked the man. The incident, as per the post, took place in Ranchi. Her post over the same also went viral and garnered praise from netizens.
The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘NandiniRavita’. The post was captioned, “I had sharp cramps and couldn’t walk to the medical store, so ordered food on @Swiggy and asked the delivery agent if he could buy me medicine. He was really kind enough to get me one. I made sure to tip him and thank him for his kindness.”

The post went viral almost immediately. Most people wanted to know if the woman tipped the delivery agent well, while the rest lauded the man’s efforts. Some also shared their own similar experiences. The post was shared 3 days ago and pulled 137K views from people.

Taking the comment section, netizens shared their take. “Sadly, I couldn’t find any online delivery services that deliver medicines in Ranchi,” a user said. “Hope you gave the tip in cash and not through the app,” commented a second person. “That's very kind of him,” added a third user. “Family member or a friend? Trusting people is a good thing but always opt for safer options whenever possible,” added a fourth user.
“They used to have a service called genie which was very useful. Not sure why they don't provide this any longer,” added another. “I once ordered a COVID test kit from Instamart and they added a free beer,” wrote a sixth user. “when in #Delhi, we just call the nearby pharmacy and they deliver medicines door to door within 30 mins, with no delivery charges,” added another.
