Teachers Lives Matter Trends On Internet: Heat waves and heat strokes among people have turned into one of the biggest threats as the temperature has started to reportedly touch the 50 Degrees Celsius mark this summer. India’s Bihar is no different, where the scorching heat is causing grave issues for people, with no sight of relief so far. Amid all this, a decision by the Bihar Government ended up triggering teachers. The decision in question was that teachers, despite the summer vacations being declared for students, were still supposed to attend schools.

As soon as the decision came forward, most people were left disappointed, which they also shared on social media. To make their demand further stern, netizens also made ‘Hashtag Teachers Lives Matter’ trend on the internet.

To further back their concerns, people shared several videos and photos of teachers fainting and struggling to work amid deadly heat. Netizens, as per their internet posts, are mainly asking Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar about the need to call teachers, even in the absence of students.

Taking to social media, netizens are sharing videos and their concerts about the move.

“Arbitrary orders are being issued to teachers with a mentality of killing them.. There is summer vacation in all the schools across the country, so why should teachers in Bihar not get summer vacation? Teachers should also be given relief in this scorching heat,” a user said.

“In Bihar, students get summer vacation but not for teachers. If there is no student then what is the need for tr. to come in this extremely hot condition?” added a second person.

“Honorable @NitishKumar when all types of educational activities are prohibited in the school then what is the justification for keeping the educational person (teacher) sitting idle?” added a third person.

“These are completely arbitrary orders given with the mentality of killing the teachers. Teachers in Bihar were not even given summer vacation. Teachers should also be given relief in this scorching heat #TeachersLivesMatter,” commented the next.
