Viral Video: After 17 ‘athletic’ days, the world finally bid farewell to the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 12. From a lit-up sky to endless cheering, the Stade de France surely witnessed an event of a kind, as the closing ceremony for the Paris Games was held in the presence of thousands, including some leading lights of the sports and cinema industries. Among many prominent names, Hollywood sensation Tom Cruise also left an impression on the viewer as he participated in the event in typical ‘Cruise style’. After performing a dramatic stunt, Cruise handed over the Olympic baton to Los Angeles for the Summer Games 2028. However, despite the gala event, what ended up stealing the spotlight was a Tom Cruise fan!

For those unaware, the closing ceremony of the Paris Games saw an unexpected ‘craziness’ as the said fan seemingly went out of control and kissed the actor out of the blue. Yes, you read that correctly. With a phone in her hand, the woman pulled the actor quite vigorously and left people shocked after landing the unforeseen kiss. A video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral almost immediately.

The video, after being shared, began to float on the internet. It majorly divided people where some loved her spirit and commented on the ‘risks’ the woman took, while the rest chastised the fan for such behaviour and called the ‘forced kiss’ a problematic action.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Rasheeda_S’. The post was captioned, “How’d that lady almost make out with Tom Cruise on international TV.” The video was shared today and pulled 568K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Imagine if the roles were reversed,” a user said. “I saw that, couldn’t believe it, she said,” added a second person. “Damn she just risked it all,” added a third person. “Cringe. If a man did that to a female celebrity, there would be questions,” added another.
