In the world of animals, their loyalty is often observed by their mating patterns. Penguins, wolves, grey eagles, beavers and to name a few, are at the top of the loyalty chart. The rest of the animals are not as good of a partner, but even among these not-so-loyal creatures, there are a few who would have surely ended up on Santa’s ‘naughty list’ for the same reason if there ever was one. So, for today’s article, we thought to take a look at these disloyal ones, who reportedly cannot be trusted when it comes to mating for life.

Lion

Yes, lions might be the King of the jungle but they do reportedly believe in keeping more than one Queen. In a pride of lions, there is usually one male lion and a handful of female lionesses.

These primates are much like some of the humans who cannot stick to one lover. They are also reportedly believed to go for more than one mate.

Dolphins
If you somehow always thought that dolphins were loyal ones, join the line. However, they too reportedly mate with multiple partners.
European Rabbits

It’s mostly the cute ones it seems. The next on the list are the European Rabbits, who are reportedly believed to mate with multiple partners during their mating season.
House Sparrows
Even sparrows are not as innocent as they look. Reportedly, they also go for partners outside their pair when it comes to mating.
Bluegill Sunfish
The next on the list reportedly known for a sneaky pattern when it comes to mating, is the Bluegill Sunfish.
Bowerbirds
The eighth entry on the list of animals known for being not-so-loyal mating partners is reportedly the Bowerbirds.
Arctic Foxes

They are usually known for monogamous mating, but sometimes, Arctic Foxes are also reportedly involved in mating outside their pair.
