Viral Video: One of the most understood and agreed upon unspoken rules of driving in the jungle is that it's the animals who are the ‘rightful owners’ of the land, and not the commuters who enter their ‘property’ during the journey. However, some people still fail to understand that, resulting in human and animal conflicts where humans are mostly the reason behind such clashes. Exemplifying something similar, a video of a tractor driver was shared online, where the driver seemingly skipped a possible accident by hitting the brakes at the last minute, as he was about to hit a herd of elephants.

What further triggered the internet was that the driver then speeded off, which, as per many, was equally risky for the gentle giants. The incident, as per the post, was from Jharkhand.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘ParveenKaswan’. The post was captioned, “Video is said from Jharkhand. Remember animals have first right of way in the jungle.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The animal is the driver,” a user said. “That tractor driver is Rogue, he should be arrested,” commented a second person. “Can the administration identify tractor driver and prosecute for disorderly conduct and intent to cause harm to wildlife?” added a third person.

“While driving through a forest, remember that you are trespassing on the animals' property, not the other way around,” added a fourth user. “The driver was speeding so fast that he was unable to apply BRAKES at the right time ... maybe bcoz of Overloading .. but when the vehicle stopped near the elephants ... in fear of getting attacked by them ...he thought to pass by them quickly,” added another.

“Very true sir. Forest departments of States seem to be hopeless in handling such things. Many highways pass through various forests across the country. There should be a heavy automatic fine system like fast tags,” added another.
