While people can take days and weeks just to decide on a final name for their kids or pets, Twitter owner Elon Musk on the other hand is a known name for taking prominent decisions in mere minutes and hours. His casual take on taking vital decisions is not a hidden fact from the people. In fact, the very decision to buy the microblogging platform Twitter was taken through votes on the same site.

Adding the latest decision to the above-mentioned list, Musk recently changed the logo of Twitter from its iconic blue bird to an 'X'. The change was part of the rebranding that has come in the middle of an intense race for more engagement between Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg's Threads.

The series of changing the logo started with some simple tweets where the Chief Twit invited his followers to suggest the designs for the new 'X' logo.

"And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds," Musk tweeted where he hinted towards replacing the 'blue bird'.

"If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow," he further tweeted, making it into crowdsourcing for the new logo.

He even shared his vision with the people and wrote, "Like this but X," along with a picture.

He then finally tweeted the selected 'X', introducing it to the world. Pictures of the Twitter office projected with the chosen 'X' was also posted.

Meanwhile, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino added her take on the matter and posted pictures of the 'X' with welcoming captions.

Twitter has changed a lot since the microblogging platform saw a significant change in ownership. At first, the platform was fast on the track of its own 'doom'. And Musk's changes on the platform along with several new features that were not-so-welcomed only added as a fuel. However, the popularity and preference of the site soon saw a change, even if it was a lot of controversies and such.
