Noida Viral Video: A terrifying ride in Noida turned into a nightmare for a group of women from Gurugram when their Uber driver allegedly abused and threatened them. The shocking incident surfaced on Reddit’s ‘r/Gurgaon’ subreddit, where one of the women shared the full ordeal in a post titled, “Uber driver abused, pulled a rod to hit us and threatened to kill.” According to the post, the women had booked a cab from Botanical Garden to their office and, as usual, were taking their regular route. However, one of the friends sitting in the front asked the driver to take an underpass to avoid traffic. What followed left the women scared and traumatised.
The driver reportedly reacted aggressively, saying, “Please keep quiet, I will only follow the Maps.” When asked to respond politely, he allegedly snapped, “Who are you? I have ten people like you working under me.” The women claimed they tried to stop the car, but the driver demanded money before letting them exit. After they refused, he pulled over, stepped out, opened the car boot and took out a white rod to threaten them.
“When I started recording him, he came after me to hit me. This was traumatising as we were only girls there and no one helped us. Instead, people and passersby were laughing about it. My friends were crying,” the woman wrote in her post. She further claimed that the police response was slow and unhelpful. “They did not pick up the call initially. Later, when they did, they told us to come to the station to file a complaint. Imagine this man driving at night with a girl alone in his cab. I am sure he was either drunk or on drugs.”

Uber is really quick to respond on Twitter. Try DMing them and tell them everything. I hope someone will respond. I’m so sorry," wrote a third user. "Sorry you had to go through this. Please post this video on X and tag all the UP/Noida police handles and local politicians," added another user.
