All Eyes On Reasi Viral post: The internet yesterday, June 10, woke up to a new outcry, ‘All Eyes On Reasi’, as people began to do everything in their power on social media to bring light to the brutal bus accident that took place in Jammu and Kashmir, reportedly due to a terrorist attack. The attack which reportedly led to the death of 9 pilgrims, took place in the Reasi district. The bus, on the other hand, was travelling from Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. As soon as the reports on the attack and its casualties surfaced online, desis borrowed the ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ hashtag and started sharing the ‘All Eyes On Reasi’ hashtag.

The hashtag, for some, also eventually changed to ‘All Eyes On Vaishno Devi Attack’. For those unaware, the said attack took place on June 09, where 9 lost their lives and 41 pilgrims were left injured, as per ANI.

However, just recently, some people began to face issues in sharing the said hashtag on the social media platform Instagram. Needless to say, the issue triggered many as desis took it as an attack on ‘freedom of speech’, and began to question Instagram over the ‘biassed move’. Soon, ‘Uninstall Instagram’ began to trend on the internet, as a result of Instagram allegedly hiding the ‘All Eyes On Reasi’ hashtag.

A post showing the same was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘itsanirudhsingh’. The post was captioned, “This is the reality of Instagram.”

The post has been going viral ever since it was shared. Most people commented on the move and dubbed it a step against ‘freedom of speech’, while the rest demanded the Indian Government to look into the matter and take action. Some also suggested new hashtags that can be used to bring the matter back on social media platforms. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 196K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Felt good that raftaar has also shared,” a user said. “There is a big question. This is not a small thing @PMOIndia and @HMOIndia @IndianSocialOr1 should interfere in this matter and should take strong action,” added a second person.

“Make another hashtag fast..we have to win this somehow. #EyesAndHeartOnReasi and if they block this then another similar one. We will keep going on and on,” added a third netizen. “What is reasi? and what is Rafah? can anyone explain?” asked a fourth. “Instagram should rename to DressChangingRoom app,” commented a fifth user.
