UP Viral Video: What was supposed to be a fun day out at an exhibition full of exciting swings, turned into a nightmare for a little girl in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur. The 10-year-old girl was sitting on a 60-foot-high Ferris wheel, which is when she reportedly accidentally slipped out of the sitting area and ended up getting stuck on the swing’s iron rods. The horrifying struggle of the girl to remain atop the grills was captured by the visitors at the event. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral and raised multiple questions about the swing’s safety. Luckily for the poor girl, she was reportedly rescued by a man within a minute of getting stranded.

The video, after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most pointed out the lack of safety at such events and exhibitions, while the rest hailed the little one for remaining calm and composed in such a deadly situation.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘priyarajputlive’. The post was captioned, “The girl got hung up on the swing at the fair and kept swinging for about a minute. The matter is of Lakhimpur Kheri.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled more than 5K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Where was the maintainer? Probably sleeping?” a user said. “She was training for the Supergirl casting. Man, my fear of heights has gotten even worse,” added a second person. “How did she even manage to get stuck there?” added a third person.

“Should have rotated the Ferris wheel clockwise if possible, this way it was too dangerous as she got upside down, could have lost grip & fallen to death,” commented a fourth user. “Average fair in UP-Bihar,” added a fifth person. “Is she safe now?? This is raising so many questions on what the was the maintenance person doing?” added another.
