A video of a sun bear standing like a human in a zoo in China has perplexed the netizens who are posing some serious questions to the zoo authorities. The video showing the bear standing on its legs has prompted people to accuse the zoo authorities of putting a human inside the cage wearing a sun bear costume. However, the zoo authorities have denied the allegations and issued a statement clarifying the incident.

The incident took place at Hangzhou Zoo in Eastern China. The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by a user named 'Brian Krassenstein'.

In the viral video, a sun bear was seen standing on its hind legs and was seen trying to reach the visitors standing near the railing. In the video, the fur of the bear was seen stacked up on each other, which resembled a costume. The bear was also seen trying to catch the pieces of food and other edibles that the visitors threw inside the animal's cage.

The video left the netizens divided as some believed that it was a real bear, while some advocated the theory that the sun bear is a human who is wearing a costume. The comment section was flooded with such views as people wrote their take on the story.

"It looks like a human in a costume to me," a user commented. "Was this bear on the plane," another added. "I know for fact those are REAL Sun Bears. I have visited that very zoo, as well as many others. Absolutely ridiculous that people want to spread malicious conspiracies and force a Zoo to defend themselves.
