Viral Video: Believe it or not, there is an infamous group of thieves that has been committing quite a number of crimes wearing nothing but undergarments, for decades, popular by the name of Chaddi Gang. The gang does not have a specific head and is mainly recognised by its unusual dress code- Chaddi (underwear). So automatically, the moment another theft by the Chaddi Gang came forward, it left people concerned. A school in Hyderabad’s Miyapur was robbed of over Rs 7 lakh on March 17 by some people wearing nothing but their undergarments, denoting their link to the notorious Chaddi Gang.
The theft was recorded on the CCTV camera that was installed in the school. The said footage was later shared on social media, which went viral almost immediately. In the video, two robbers were seen committing the crime in their undergarments. Reportedly, an FIR has also been registered.
The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle 'CoreenaSuares2'. The post was captioned, “Hyderabad—-Cheddi Gang Theft in Miyapur. Two thieves entered World One School on Saturday and looted 7.85L cash. The incident was recorded on the CCTV camera. The school management lodged a complaint with the Miyapur police. I have no words about the dressing.”

The video, ever since it has been shared, is going viral on social media. Most people pointed out that the thieves knew about the cash, while some commented on their dress code. Many also cracked jokes on the same. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 281K views from people.

Taking to the commentary section, people shared their take. “These people come from other states, even on TV there is a show called Crime Patrol they too have urged to be careful,” a user said. “I don't think they are the real chaddi gang people. They just chose this attire to divert the attention of the police. They have even covered their fingers with a cloth to get rid of any traces. These are known people of the school management who came to rob the cash,” said a second person.
“They rub oil in their body so that they can escape easily even if someone grabs them,” commented a third person. “The school got robbed off like how the school robs parents,” added another. “Lol. Just that they removed their shirt and covered the face to avoid CCTV capturing,” said a fifth user. “They had the idea that there was cash. This looks all planned,” said the next.
