Kanpur Viral Video: Putting Uttar Pradesh’s law and order situation under scanner and reminding people of typical crime and gangster films, a man in Kanpur was seen threatening other commuters with what appeared to be a country-made rifle. A video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral and left people speechless. As per the viral post, the commuters were triggered after the man’s car ended up blocking the busy street as the driver was allegedly busy buying flowers, while the vehicle was standing in the middle of the road. As the matter between other commuters and one of the passengers of the car blocking the road began, the man with a rifle got out of the car to join the argument.

The exact date of the incident could not be confirmed. The video, after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most people demanded police action, while the rest called such incidents common for the state. Many also called it an example of questionable law and order situation in the state.

The UP video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘gharkekalesh’. The post was captioned, “Normal Kanpur Road-Rage Kalesh (There were four people sitting in the car. The driver stopped in the middle of the road and went to buy flowers. People around were asking him to move. Then, the real ‘Dabangg’ guy got out of the car with a rifle to take matters into his own hands).”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Not even a pistol it's a gun guys. How can you even use it just to show off? The nameplate has been captured and I hope the police department will take action against them asap,” a user said. “This guy should be arrested immediately,” added a second person.

“That other guy when he sees the guy with a rifle: are bhai me to majak kar rha tha aap to serious ho gaye (I was just joking, why did you get serious),” added a third person. “In India, is it legal for ordinary people to own rifles? Who gives licenses to these Gundas? Surely, he must be affiliated with some political party,” added another.
