Viral Video: It’s common for the Delhi metro and Mumbai local train to go viral from time to time as social media is full of videos where people are seen doing some kind of performance at the cost of public nuisance. Joining the list, another Mumbai local train video is doing rounds on social media, but this time, the matter has irked not only the netizens but also the authorities. The said video was of a Mumbai cop, SF Gupta, dancing with a woman onboard the train. The uniformed Home Guard was on duty and was assigned to guard the women coach, where the incident reportedly took place on December 06.
The video was shared on the social media site Instagram, by the handle ‘saiba__19’. The post was captioned, “Wait for it, bachgayi.”

After the video went viral, it came under the notice of the authorities, who were quick to take action. Addressing the matter, the ‘GRP Mumbai’ took to the social media site X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “On 6/12/2023, a video of a home guard dancing in uniform during local train patrolling is going viral. Taking serious notice of the said incident and verifying the truth, appropriate action has been taken against the concerned Home Guard. We are taking care to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.”

The video is going viral and is gaining all kinds of reactions from people. Most chastised the cop and the women for the viral clip, while others pointed out the concerning number of such incidents on public transport. The video was shared a few days ago and pulled 164K views from people.

Taking to the internet, people shared their take. “This was not at all required, he should know that he is still wearing his uniform,” a user said. “These reelers need to stop. They think that they can dance anywhere they want, without thinking about other commuters,” joined a second. “Hopefully strict action will be taken against the man, he was on duty!” said a third person.
