Viral Video: Highlighting people’s lack of knowledge over handling crisis in the presence of a wild animal, an incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor came forward where a crocodile was seen running in the streets trying to escape people. A video of the same was shared on social media, which went viral almost immediately. As the clip went viral, the internet was mostly triggered by the way the people around the reptile handled the matter. From kicking the crocodile to running behind it, the video was as chaotic as it could be. The date of the matter could not be confirmed.
The video, after getting shared, began to do rounds on social media. Most people were against the man who tried to kick the reptile, while the rest expressed concerns for the street dog who was chasing the crocodile. Some also chastised people around the crocodile for their way of handling the situation.
The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “A crocodile strolling through the village streets in Bijnor, UP.” The video was shared today and pulled 226K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I hope the guy who kicked the croc goes for a swim one day and becomes its meal. Poor reptile. It needs rescuing from the most dangerous animals on earth: humans,” a user said. “Why a dog is curious?” added a second person.
“Real wild animals are the people who are kicking the croc. Should be punished for endangering wildlife,” added a third person. “He is looking for his friend,” added a fourth user. “That's why wildlife cannot survive in India,” added another. “Not crocodile, lizard type hoga, UP me I have seen this huge lizard,” added a sixth person. “Why is that man kicking him? What if he shows a death roll to him?” added another.
