Viral Video: Some animals are especially known for their intelligence and love for humans and human interactions. From dogs and dolphins, to horses, there are certain furry and scaly ones that love their fair shares of human interaction. And of these, the ones that often top the charts are the elephants. Social media is full of videos where wholesome human and elephant interactions were seen, which won many. Joining the list, another such incident went viral, where a woman helped out a baby elephant, who was stuck in wet mud. A video of the same was shared on the internet. But what people loved the most was the way the little one tried to pat the woman as a ‘thankful’ gesture.

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “Thank you.”

The video instantly went viral as it won many hearts. Most people loved the little and wholesome interaction between the elephant and the girl, while others recalled the elephants being one of the most humble animals. Rest fell in love with the animal’s gestures after getting rescued. The video was shared yesterday and pulled a whopping 2.9M views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “When animals love people, and people love animals, such adorable and wholesome moments are created,” a user said. “So sweet! Animals I feel are naturally kind. Only to become otherwise in a manner of self-defense. Even predators don't kill for sport, per se. They kill for survival, there is a big difference. They kill as quickly as they can too. To see their prey suffer is not their intention/agenda. Only to survive,” said a user. “Glad they were able to help that little cutie!” commented a third. 

“Insane how large elephants are even as babies,” said a next. “It's always wonderful to see people helping animals, especially when it's a majestic creature like an elephant,” said another.
