Watch: Vladimir Putin Shushes Talkative Official As Russian National Anthem Play

JE Viral Desk:  Russian President Vladimir Putin attracts the limelight for numerous different reasons. Currently, a video of the Russian President is making headlines where Putin was captured telling an official to show respect for the country's national anthem.

As per the video, which is being widely shared on social media, the Russian country chief was seen standing on a boat near the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, accompanied by Elena Ilyukhina, an official from the Russian Petroleum refineries company Gazprom Neft.

The Russian national anthem can be heard playing in the background as the official initiates a conversation with Vladimir Putin. A few moments later, the leader can be seen telling the official to stand quietly and respect the anthem, placing a finger on his lips.

Reportedly, the incident took place during a solemn flag-raising ceremony in Saint Petersburg held to commemorate significant milestones in Russian history.

Netizens were quick enough to respond to the video, a Twitterati wrote, " Thats why indians love Vladimir putin ,,his loyalty and respects toward country ..put at first place.."

Another commented, "Putin's strong leadership during the anthem shows the respect he has for his country. A powerful reminder of what true patriotism looks like."

Meanwhile, a few days earlier, Vladimir Putin was seen giving a cold shoulder to his defence minister, Sergei Shoigu during a visit to a Moscow military hospital to present medals to Russian soldiers.
