If the phrase ‘border paar’ had a face, it surely would have been Blinkit’s hilarious comment on a post by Pakistan’s Crumble. Confused? Well, so were most netizens when they realised an unexpected response from an Indian online delivery app on the comment section of a meme shared by a Pakistani brand. What happened next was something that Blinkit must have seen coming from miles away; a hilarious retaliatory comment from ‘across the border’. The entire thing began when Blinkit commented on a post shared by a Pakistani cookie brand Crumble. The post was over Crumble getting late for a delivery, due to which its delivery agent decided to make a run for it. Responding to the meme, Blinkit teased the brand for not being able to deliver on time.
“Lol! Ek biscuit deliver ho nhi paa raha, Pakistan’s #1 brand banenge (Can’t deliver one biscuit, and they claim they’re going to be Pakistan’s #1 brand),” read Blinkit’s comment. Entering into the comments war, it was Crumble who then recalled the latest mistake by Blinkit, where a customer accidentally received a woman's pantie instead of a man’s underwear. As the comments began to turn into a witty war, they also started to gain people’s attention who seemingly fell in love with the weird clash.
The comments went viral on social media, mostly impressing and intriguing the internet. Many shared hilarious jokes on the same, while the rest chose sides. Some also called the entire thing a PR strategy and regardless loved the idea.
The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Crumble’. The post was captioned, “Sugar down?.” The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 46K likes from people.
