Tech billionaire and X CEO, Elon Musk, sparked global attention on Monday when he shared a Grok AI-generated description of Lord Ganesha. The post has since sparked wide discussion and appreciation from Indian users across the platform.
Musk shared a Grok-generated response identifying an image of a brass idol of Lord Ganesha, captioned, “This is a small brass (or bronze) statue of Lord Ganesha, a widely revered Hindu deity.” The AI then elaborated on the deity’s features — an elephant head with a single tusk, four arms holding traditional objects such as a modak (sweet) and a goad, and a seated posture on a lotus base framed by a decorative arch known as prabhavali.
The above post, "Lord Ganesha: Symbol of Wisdom and Prosperity | Shared Grok Conversation," went viral in no time, with over 580,000 views in a few hours. Many users appreciated Musk's move to encourage cultural inclusivity and interest in Indian spirituality.
