Lebanon Pagers Explode: Hundreds of Hezbollah fighters suffered grievous injuries when their communication devices, mainly pagers, exploded on Tuesday in Lebanon's south and the southern suburbs of Beirut, Reuters reported. Israel has reportedly carried out the mysterious explosions, reports stated.
Several videos surfaced over social media showing severely wounded Hezbollah fighters, claiming them to be the victims of sophisticated Israeli cyber attacks. Many reports stated that Israel hacked into the communication devices used by Hezbollah fighters to plant malware, which caused them to explode like mini grenades.
The pagers attack in Lebanon; where huge numbers of Hezbollah fighters have been injured when their pagers exploded after receiving a message is among the craziest things I have seen in this new generation of warfare.

What Happened In Lebanon
Around an hour ago, thousands of Hezbollah’s encrypted pager devices started exploding simultaneously across Lebanon without any external stimulus - injuring and killing hundreds of members of the armed group.

Initial reports indicate a possible Israeli involvement in the sophisticated attack, with Hezbollah asking its militants to immediately discard their pagers - radio frequency-based communication devices. The Lebanon-based terrorist organisation has called the attack the "biggest security breach" they have ever encountered.
According to Iran's Mehr news agency, Mojtaba Amani, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon was also injured when a pager he was carrying exploded.
Notably, Lebanon-based terrorist organisations Hezbollah and Israel have been fighting since Tel Aviv's incursion into Gaza, earlier this year.
