Iran-Israel-US War: Amid the ongoing war between Iran and the joint forces of Israel and the US, at least four people died in Lebanon on Saturday in an Israeli strike. Lebanon's health ministry, in its statement, said that the strike hit an apartment in the Ramada Hotel building in the capital city, Beirut, leading to the casualties. Apart from this, at least ten people also got severely injured in another Israeli strike in the Raouche region, the health ministry added.
As per the reports, the hotel was housing the displaced people who fled the fighting in southern parts of the country. The attack incited panic among the locals, causing some residents to flee the targeted building in fear. However, the exact reason behind the attack in the capital city is still unknown, as Israel has not issued any statement yet.

A fresh attack on Lebanon was launched by Israel after Hezbollah, a terror group that has its bases in the outskirts of Lebanon, launched a strike on Israel following the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the US-Israel attack.
Earlier on Saturday, Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reiterated that he did not seek war, adding that the scale of displacement could have major consequences. "The consequences of this displacement, at the humanitarian and political level, may well be unprecedented," Salam asserted. "Our country has been drawn into a devastating war that we did not seek and did not choose," he added.
While Israel had attacked the military facilities of Lebanon in the past few days, it was the first hit in the heart of the capital. The escalated military tension in the Middle East completed a week on Saturday, with no immediate signs of retreat. US President Donald Trump has demanded complete surrender from Iran; however, Tehran has vowed to continue the war.
