IDF Says It Is Aware Of Reports
Earlier, the Israeli military said it had carried out strikes in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon, targeting what it described as Hezbollah positions. The IDF said the strikes killed several Hezbollah fighters following the launch of Hezbollah drones on Sunday. In a statement on its Telegram channel, the Israeli military said it was aware of reports that a journalist had been killed.

“The IDF does not target uninvolved individuals or journalists under any circumstances. The IDF makes every effort to minimise harm to uninvolved individuals while maintaining the safety of its forces,” the military stated. The IDF also stated that it had identified Hezbollah weapons storage facilities and a command centre inside a building that had previously been used as a hospital as targets.
According to Reuters, at least seven people were killed in the airstrikes on Sunday. The strikes on the town reportedly came without an online evacuation warning from the Israeli military. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun had termed the attacks a "dangerous escalation", hampering the US-brokered ceasefire meant between Israel and Hezbollah.
