Iran War 2026: Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, the US press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, issued a stern warning to Iran by stating that it will face brutal military action if it does not accept the deal to end the war. She asserted that US President Donald Trump is ready to "unleash hell" if Tehran decides to continue the conflict. While stating that Trump does not "bluff", Leavitt suggested Iran not miscalculate the situation. Iran on Wednesday dismissed the US' proposal aimed at ending the war, stating it will 'end the war' only on its own terms.

While addressing a press briefing, Leavitt stated that the US will intensify the attacks if Tehran denies ending the war, adding that the US president does not bluff. "If Iran fails to accept the reality of the current moment, if they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily and will continue to be, President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before," Leavitt asserted.

"President Trump does not bluff and he is prepared to unleash hell. Iran should not miscalculate again," she added. However, Iran on Wednesday denied accepting the conditions put by the US to end the war, adding that the war would not end until its conditions are met.

"Iran will end the war when it decides to do so and when its own conditions are met," one of the Iranian officials stated. He also pointed out that the US had deceived Iran in negotiations in the past, adding that the Trump administration has failed to show a genuine intention of a meaningful dialogue.

Apart from this, Iran also laid out five conditions under which it would consider ending the war, including a complete end to US and Israeli 'aggression and assassinations' and concrete safeguards to prevent any future military action.
