Cries of wounded, orphaned children have filled the Gaza Strip for long now, similar to the sounds of Israeli airstrikes that have been the cause of the excruciating pain that these innocents are forced to endure. Infants in Gaza have fallen prey to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas that has plagued the world since October 7. With no idea of what "war" means these children have already been categorised as WCNSF (wounded child, no surviving family). The expression exposes us to a sliver of what the actual horror on the ground is.

Here's A Look At The Top Updates In Israel-Hamas War:

-Israeli military forces have ramped up the attacks across the Gaza Strip including near hospitals and in the south of the Palestinian enclave where the ground operation is intensifying.

-The Norwegian Refugee Council chief warned that Israel's "indiscriminate bombardment" of Palestine civilians has reached new depths of terror. Palestinian officials said that Israeli jets are dropping phosphorous bombs in the north and east of Khan Younis in the south.

-UN General Assembly president Dennis Francis re-appealed for a "longer-term humanitarian ceasefire". "I’m deeply alarmed and saddened by the resumption of hostilities in the Middle East. I reiterate my call for a longer-term humanitarian ceasefire; unconditional release of all remaining hostages & for unimpeded access to humanitarian aid to Palestinians," he posted on 'X'.

-Unrelenting air, sea, and land bombings of the Palestinian territory have left thousands dead with no current data on the number of fatalities as Gaza faces another communication blackout.

-Several videos of deadly scenes, children wailing as they are being treated for their injuries, and relatives with infants in their arms looking for shelter have been strewn across social media platforms as many journalists reporting from Gaza record and write their final messages and demand an end to the war.
