Israel-Palestine War: US President Joe Biden on Wednesday landed in Israel's Tel Aviv where he held a joint press conference with the country's Prime Minsiter, Benjamin Netanyahu, on the ongoing armed conflict between Israeli forces and Hamas. During the presser, Biden told Netanyahu that the "evils" perpetrated by the Palestinian militant outfit made "ISIS look somewhat rational".

"On Oct 7 Hamas murdered 1400 Israelis in a single day...October 7th, is another day that will live in infamy. Mr President, you rightly said that Hamas is worse than ISIS. The civilised world must unite to defeat Hamas," Netanyahu said in response to the US President's remarks.

Biden further said he believed Israel's claims regarding the recet bombing of a hospital in southern Gaza that claimed the lives of at least 500 Palestinians, including children. "I was deeply sad by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. Based on what I have seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you. But there are a lot of people out there, I am not sure," he stated.

Hamas and its allies, along with the the African Union, have pinned the blame for the bombing on Israel, which is currently conducting air strikes against assets of the Palestinian militant outfit in Gaza. Iran, Turkey, and Qatar have accused Israel of being responsible for the explosion that struck the Al Ahli Arab hospital on Tuesday.
The Israel Defence Forces on Wednesday released an audio recording which it said captured a conversation between two Hamas operatives who, according to the translation provided by the Israeli military, discussed how a failed rocket attack by another Palestinian militant outfit resulted in the explosion that struck the Al Ahli Arab hospital in southern Gaza.
