Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been in the limelight for years, not only for his political activities but also for his personal life, which has been controversial and in the news. Legally married three times, Shehbaz is often referred to as the "Man with 5 Marriages" due to widespread speculation surrounding his relationships.

Married First In 1973, Divorced In 1993

Shehbaz Sharif first marriage was in 1973 to his cousin Nusrat Butt. They have four children and got divorced in 1993. Nusrat is a recluse but was summoned to court in Shehbaz's case of money laundering in 2022.

Second Marriage With Model Aaliya Honey

In the same year that he divorced, he wed Pakistani model Aaliya Honey. His father, Mian Sharif, did not favor their relationship. They got separated when they exiled themselves in Saudi Arabia, and Aaliya eventually died in suspicious circumstances.

Secret Third Marriage To Nargis Khosa

Shehbaz was also reported to have married secretly in 1993, Nargis Khosa, the sister of senior bureaucrat Tariq Khosa. The marriage was not approved by the Sharif family, nor did it last quietly,y shortly after.

Fourth marriage to author Tehmina Durrani. Shehbaz's most publicised wedding was when he married renowned writer Tehmina Durrani in 2003. The couple had been together for several years before marrying. Tehmina, best known for her book My Feudal Lord, remains his wife and is now the First Lady of Pakistan. Though Nawaz Sharif initially opposed the marriage, relations between Tehmina and the Sharif family have since improved.

Fifth Marriage To Bureaucrat Kulsum

Shehbaz is said to have married a government official in 2012 named Kulsum. The marriage was, however, short-lived and was later dissolved through divorce.

Shehbaz Sharif's personal life has generally kept the Sharif family on their toes. His various marriages and affairs have been hogging the headlines for decades, contrasting sharply with the personal image of his elder brother, Nawaz Sharif.
