The bilateral discussions between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump are expected to centre on key areas such as counter-terrorism, where both nations aim to enhance intelligence cooperation to combat global and regional terrorism; cybersecurity, focusing on addressing emerging cyber threats and strengthening digital security frameworks; and strategic partnerships, which include boosting defence collaborations and economic trade agreements.

PM Modi’s Meeting With DNI Tulsi Gabbard
Prior to his White House visit, Prime Minister Modi met with Tulsi Gabbard, the newly appointed Director of National Intelligence in the Trump administration. During their interaction, Modi discussed the growing India-US strategic partnership and congratulated Gabbard on her confirmation as the top intelligence official of the United States.
Gabbard, a prominent Hindu-American leader, has long been an advocate for strong India-US relations and has played a crucial role in fostering bilateral cooperation in security and economic sectors.
