US Election Final Result:  Donald Trump has breached the so-called 'Blue Wall' in US Presidential Polls by winning all the seven swing states as per the final projection of results on Sunday. The US President-elect is set to win Arizona, which will take his tally to 312 electoral votes over his Democratic rival Kamala Harris's 226 votes as the final counting concluded.

Trump has completed a clean sweep of all the battleground states in the US, boasting a huge margin of win, even bigger than his victory in 2016 against Hillary Clinton. While almost all the results were declared in favour of Trump, Maricopa County might take another 10 days to count every last ballot.

All the seven battleground states - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, and Wisconsin -voted largely in favour of Trump, a disappointment for the Democrats, which considers some of them as the 'Blue Wall'.

Trump's victory followed a challenging path, with the Republican leader starting his poll bid amid the shadows of federal agency investigations against him in Hush Money and Florida cases. His then Democratic rival Joe Biden started campaigning but endorsed Kamala Harris for the post due to constraints of age and ailment. Trump also faced two attempts on his life, narrowing escaping death in one such incident.

The campaign also witnessed severe polarisation of the American society with businesses and celebrities openly siding and endorsing their candidates. While most of the big tech endorsed and, donated to Kamala, Trump got the overwhelming support of Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk.

In the House, Republicans have so far won 216 seats against 209 of the Democrats. The majority mark is 218. Republicans are confident that they will get the necessary number of seats to cross the halfway mark. In 2020, President Joe Biden became the first Democrat to win Arizona since Bill Clinton in 1996. Trump has now flipped it back.
