A luxury cruise line is offering Americans an opportunity to "skip" the next presidential term with its new "Skip Forward" voyage, designed for those looking to escape the country following Donald Trump’s re-election. According to Fortune, Florida-based Villa Vie Residences has introduced this unique package, allowing US residents to travel the world while avoiding the country’s political climate.
The cruise will visit over 140 countries during its four-year journey, and travellers can join the adventure at any port along the way. The cost for a double-occupancy cabin is $159,999, while a single-occupancy cabin is priced at $255,999.

This luxurious voyage offers a chance to explore incredible destinations while avoiding the political landscape in the US, making it an attractive option for those looking to take an extended holiday during the next presidential term.
“Pay once and never worry about it again,” reads Villa Vie’s description of the package. “The moment you step on board, your journey begins. Leave behind the familiar and embrace the unknown as you navigate the world’s most iconic and inspiring locations.”
Villa Vie CEO Mikael Petterson, however, said the campaign was launched before the US election result was announced but they tweaked it a little after Trump’s win.
''Although the campaign was put together before the results of the election, we feel we have a perfect product for those who said they'd leave the country if XYZ wins the election. We may have differing political views, but our community comes together through our passion for exploring the world in a very real way that goes far beyond politics,'' Fox News quoted Petterson as saying.
Moreover, it's not mandatory for people to be a part of the entire journey. People can also choose from a one-year "Escape from Reality" journey, a two-year "Mid-Term Selection" voyage, or a three-year "Everywhere but Home" cruise.
