Dallas Horror: A shocking incident has unfolded in Downtown Suites Motel of Dallas, Texas where a man, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez assaulted and killed an Indian origin man named Chandra Mouli ‘Bob’ Nagamallaiah. Bob was serving as the manager of the motel and had got down in an altercation with Yordanis Cobos-Martinez over the issue of a broken washing machine.

The argument led to a violent altercation which ended in the beheading of Bob. The Indian The Consulate condoled the "tragic" death of Nagamallaiah and said he was "killed brutally" at his workplace.

Who Is Chandra Mouli ‘Bob’ Nagamallaiah?

Chandra Mouli ‘Bob’ Nagamallaiah was an Indian-origin Motel manager of Downtown Suites in Dallas who was brutally killed by Yordanis Cobos-Martinez. Friends and family fondly called him as ‘Bob’ and remember him as a devoted husband, loving father, and kind soul.

Bob is survived by his wife and 18-year-old son, who were both present during the time of the murder. Subsequently, a fundraiser has been organised to support the wife and the son, covering funeral expenses, daily needs and the son’s college education. Funeral services are expected to take place on Saturday.

Who Is YordanisCobos Martinez?

Yordanis Cobos-Martinez aged 37 is a Cuban national who has been arrested for the murder of Bob and charged with capital murder. Cobos-Martinez has a history of arrests in Houston for assault and auto theft. 

The Department of Homeland Security had earlier tried to deport him to Cuba. However, the government of Cuba refused to take him in due to the past criminal records. If convicted, he faces either life in prison without parole or the death penalty.

What Is The Fateful Incident?

As per the reports of the Dallas police, the altercation between Bob and Cobos-Martinez started over a broken washing machine on Wednesday. According to reports by the PTI, tensions escalated when Nagamallaih asked another person to help translate his instructions rather than speaking directly to Martinez. This reportedly angered the suspect, who then left to fetch a machete.

The CCTV footage which captured the gruesome incident, showed Cobos-Martinez fetching a machete, chasing the victim and launching an array of blows even though his son and wife tried to intervene.
