Scorpio Pik-Up Completes 1M Kilometers: Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra, recently shared a post on his official X account praising the Scorpio Pik-Up for completing 1 Million Kilometers with its original engine. The Scorpio pik-up, also known as the Scorpio Getaway, is a pickup truck launched in 2009 in Australia by the Indian car manufacturer.
Anand Mahindra Celebrates Scorpio Pik-up
The post shared by Anand Mahindra features images of three Mahindra Scorpio Pik-up trucks owned by Valley Express, which is a transport company based out of Rutherford, NSW. Mahindra, in his post, said ‘Resilience is the ultimate key to success whether in business or on the road. When we enter new markets overseas, we have to go the distance, and our vehicles have to go the distance as well… This Mahindra Pik-Up just clocked 1M kms on its original engine. No rebuilds, no replacements. Kudos to Valley Express in Australia for showing how purpose and performance go the distance. Keep rising!’

Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up
The Mahindra Scorpio Getaway is known as the Scorpio Pik-up in Australia, and it was first introduced in the country in 2009. It was launched with the 2.5-litre CRDe Diesel engine, which was later replaced by the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine in 2011. In 2014, the brand expanded its presence across the world by launching the Scorpio Pik-up in New Zealand. Now, the brand is focusing on launching a new updated global model of the Scorpio Pik-up soon.
