In line with its competitors capturing the luxury EV market, Audi India has started bookings for its Q8 e-tron. With two trims available, remarkable power, and impressive ranges, this electric SUV is set to redefine standards. Bookings for the brand-new Q8 e-tron have begun at Audi India for Rs 5 lakh. The two trim levels are the upgraded electric SUV 50 and 55.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Powertrain and Range
There are two trim levels for the Audi Q8 e-tron, and both are offered in both SUV and Sportback designs. The Audi Q8 e-tron 50 Sportback has claimed range of 505 kilometres, compared to the SUV version's 491 kilometres. The 50 trim gets a 95kWh battery with two motors that provide 340 horsepower and 664 Nm of torque. The slightly stronger 55 variant has a range of 582 km for the SUV and 600 km for the Sportback thanks to a larger 114 kWh battery. The 55 produces 408 bhp and 664 Nm peak torque.
Both trims, according to Audi, will be available with a 22KW AC charger and will be capable of 170KW of DC fast charging, which the company claims can charge the car from 0 to 80 per cent in just 31 minutes.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Features
A 10.1-inch infotainment system and an 8.6-inch device for HVAC management are included with the Q8 e-tron. Additional features include a four-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and adaptive air suspension.

Audi Q8 e-tron India launch and rivals
Audi will launch the Q8 e-tron in India on August 18. Though Audi has not revealed the price range of the Audi Q8 e-Tron, car enthusiasts believe that the car could be launched starting at over Rs 1 cr. This electric vehicle will compete with the Jaguar I-Pace, which has a price range between Rs 1.19 and 1.24 crore. The Audi would have faced competition from the Mercedes-Benz EQC, which is no longer available in the market.
