BMW iX xDrive50 New Variant: BMW India has introduced a new variant of its electric SUV, the iX in the country. This new variant of the BMW iX has been launched at a price tag of Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom). BMW India has revealed that this latest addition to the iX lineup will come to India as a completely built unit (CBU) and it is equipped with xDrive50 technology. Interested buyers can book the new variant of the BMW iX electric SUV through authorised BMW dealerships or the official online platform of BMW India. The BMW iX electric SUV competes with rivals such as the Audi e-Tron, Mercedes-Benz EQC, and Porsche Taycan.

BMW iX - Price In India
The BMW iX electric SUV was launched in the Indian market in 2021 and is now available in two broad variants - xDrive50 and xDrive40. The BMW iX xDrive40 is available in India at a price of Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom), whereas, the iX xDrive50 new variant has been launched at Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom).
BMW iX - Exterior Appearance
Talking about the exterior appearance of the BMW iX electric SUV, it is available in five exterior colour scheme options - Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire, Aventurine Red, and Oxide Grey. Additionally, an optional exterior colour scheme called BMW Individual Storm Bay Metallic is offered.
BMW iX xDrive50 - Performance, Battery & Range
Talking about the performance specifications of the BMW iX, the xDrive50 variant of the electric SUV boasts a dual-battery setup with a combined capacity of 111.5 kWh. The dual batteries offer a driving range of 635 kilometres on a single charge. The xDrive50 variant is also equipped with two electric motors that are capable of producing a power output of 515 bhp and 765 Nm of torque. The BMW iX xDrive50 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

BMW iX xDrive40 - Performance, Battery & Range
On the other hand, the existing BMW iX xDrive40 variant offers slightly lower power output and range. It is equipped with a single motor that generates a power output of 321 bhp and 630 Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with a 76.6 kWh battery pack that enables the electric SUV to offer a driving range of 414 kilometres on a single charge and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds.
