Honda's First Compact EV Prototype To Debut At Japan Mobility Show 2025: Check Details

Honda Compact EV: Honda Motor Company Limited today announced its lineup for the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2025. The brand’s lineup for the show will include a wide variety of motorcycles, automobiles, power products, aircraft, and other products, along with related technologies and concept models. The brand today revealed the list of items to be on display at the Honda booth, and the list can be primarily classified into two categories: products for the World Premiere and products for the Japan Premiere.

Products For The World Premiere

Compact EV prototype

Honda will display the prototype of a compact EV model, which is currently undergoing road testing in different countries with strong demand for compact EVs, including Japan, the U.K., and Asian countries.

New Honda SUV & Electric Motorcycle

Honda will display the prototype of a new SUV model, which will be added to the brand’s lineup of the Honda 0 Series. Honda will also display the concept model of an electric motorcycle, which is being developed with a new approach.

Honda e-MTB Prototype

The brand showcased the e-MTB concept model for the first time in 2023, and now it will display a planned production model. The Honda e-MTB is a high-end mountain bike featuring an electric assistance function.

Sustainable rocket

Honda will display the actual experimental model of its sustainable rocket used in the launch and landing test successfully conducted in Taiki Town in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, in June 2025. In its contribution toward a carbon-neutral society, Honda is working on the development of the “sustainable rocket,” which will feature technologies that enable the reuse of the rocket as well as the use of renewable fuel.

Products For The Japan Premiere

All-new Honda Prelude

The Honda Prelude is already on sale in Japan from September 5, 2025, onwards. The brand will also display the new Honda Prelude in the Japan Mobility Show 2025, and the car is equipped with an advanced e: HEV system, which is the original Honda hybrid system. The all-new Prelude will become the beginning for future Honda specialty sports models.

Honda N One E

The Honda N One E has been on sale in Japan since September 12, 2025. The Honda N One E has its exterior design, cabin, and handling carried forward from the Honda N360. The Honda N360 is known as the first electric Honda passenger car. The brand will also display the Honda N One E during the Japan Mobility Show 2025.

Honda CB1000F & CB1000F SE

The brand will be showcasing the planned production model from the CB series. The CB series is a product brand that represents the road sports bikes of Honda. The brand will be displaying the all-new CB1000F and the all-new CB1000F SE, which further highlights the traditional proportions of the CB1000F.
