Maruti Suzuki Escudo Price: Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, is set to introduce a new SUV to its lineup in the market on September 3, 2025. It is believed that the upcoming SUV will be called Maruti Suzuki Escudo, and it will rival the likes of Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos. The brand recently shared a teaser of its SUV, and the vehicle has been spotted testing several times as well. Here we are sharing what is expected of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Escudo in terms of design details, features, powertrain, and price.
Maruti Suzuki Escudo: Features
The brand is expected to equip the Escudo with a range of advanced technological features. The SUV is expected to come equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Escudo by Maruti Suzuki is also expected to feature a fully automatic climate control system, Ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and new materials for the upholstery.

Maruti Suzuki Escudo: Design
The recently shared teaser by Maruti Suzuki gave us a sneak peek of what’s coming from the brand. The taillight section of the upcoming SUV was showcased in the teaser. It is anticipated that the SUV will feature a three-dimensional LED taillight setup. The SUV is also expected to borrow the lighting elements from the brand’s first-ever electric SUV, the e-Vitara. The Maruti Suzuki Escudo is also expected to feature a new set of alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Escudo: Powertrain
The Maruti Suzuki Escudo is being launched to fill the key gap between the brand’s two popular SUVs: the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. The Escudo is anticipated to be based on the brand’s C-platform, shared by its bigger sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Thus, the Escudo is expected to come equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will later be equipped with a CNG option. The Engine is capable of generating 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki Escudo: Expected Price
As informed earlier, the Maruti Suzuki Escudo will be filling the key gap between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. While the Brezza is priced between Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 12.58 lakh (ex-showroom) in the market, the Grand Vitara is priced between Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 20.68 lakh (ex-showroom). Thus, we expect the Maruti Suzuki Escudo to be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 16 lakh in India.
