The introduction of these new 4X2 diesel automatic variants has brought down the starting price of the Compass by almost Rs 1 lakh which will allow it to compete with the top-end models of Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari.

Jeep Compass Black Shark Edition

In Jeep’s line-up of vehicles available in India, the Compass Black Shark Edition will be positioned below the SUV's 4x4 automatic variants. It features a striking red and black exterior colour scheme, with several blacked-out elements including the grille, side sills, badges and the chrome beltline. Notably, the front fenders display the Black Shark badging. A significant change is the adoption of alloy wheels borrowed from the Meridian with a sleek black finish instead of the dual-tone design.
