With the global launch of the new fully-electric Lamborghini later this week, the Italian supercar manufacturer is ready to take its next great step into the electric future. The next electric supercar, which will make its debut on August 18 during the Monterey Car Week taking place in California, United States, has been teased by the automaker. Lamborghini recently shared a teaser image of the future EV, which will be exhibited in its concept form in California.

Concept Unveiling
The EV concept serves as a preview of the design of the first-ever Lamborghini electric vehicle. Prior to this, Lamborghini had stated that its first electric vehicle will probably enter production around 2028. The automaker has additionally stated that the 2+2 seating arrangement would be standard on the completely electrified vehicle. It is most likely based on the SSP platform used by the automaker.
In the teaser, Lamborghini revealed the outline of the EV concept with its distinctive flowing roofline. It posted the picture on social media with the caption, "Something new and truly thrilling is about to be unveiled". While Lamborghini has so far kept the majority of the information on the EV concept a secret, its CEO previously provided a hint as to what to anticipate from the car. According to Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini, the company's first totally electric vehicle will be an appealing option for regular users. Additionally, he had stated that the new vehicle will not be an SUV.
Redefining Super Cars
With the plug-in hybrid Aventador supercar known as the Revuelto, Lamborghini has already begun the transition to a more sustainable energy method. The automaker is reportedly also working on a plug-in hybrid version of its best-selling Urus SUV. The next EV concept, however, will be Lamborghini's first all-electric car.
