Mahindra Thar OG: Exterior

The Mahindra Thar OG has received a slew of styling upgrades. At the front, the new Thar OG features C-shaped LED DRLs, a redesigned grille with an extended section with Thar badging, new LED headlamps, and LED fog lamps. The brand has also revised the front and rear bumpers of the Thar and added the Thar badging to the tailgate. Another key highlight to the exterior is the new 19-inch alloy wheels.

Mahindra Thar OG: More Powerful Engine

The new Mahindra Thar OG is available with options of three engine options: a 1.5-litre diesel engine, a 2.2-litre diesel engine, and a 2-litre turbo petrol engine. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is exclusively available with a 6-speed Manual Transmission, and it generates 119 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre diesel engine is now more powerful and produces 152 hp and 330 Nm of torque, respectively, and the 2-litre turbo petrol engine is more powerful, and it can now generate a peak power and torque output of 162 hp and 330 Nm, respectively.
