Nissan Gravite First Look: The Nissan Gravite has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nissan Gravite has become the most affordable 7-seater car in India, post-launch. The Nissan Gravite is based on the CMF-A+ platform. Notably, it is the same platform that the Renault Triber is built upon. The Jagran Hitech team recently got a chance to spend some time with the newly-launched Nissan Gravite, and here’s our first-look video of the same. Let’s take a look.

Nissan Gravite MPV: Design
The overall silhouette of the Nissan Gravite looks very similar to the Renault Triber. At the front, it gets a large blacked-out grille with LED headlamps and LED DRLs integrated inside the headlight housing. The DRLs also integrate the turn signals, and a connecting silver element can be seen between the headlights. The bumpers feature C-shaped patterns with fog lamps. On the sides, it gets blacked out ORVMs with integrated turn signals, and a thick black body cladding. On the rear, the Gravite gets a connecting chrome strip between the taillights, which are placed inside carved out housings.
Nissan Gravite MPV: Features
The Nissan Gravite gets a keyless entry and an engine start/stop button. The dashboard is finished in a black and white dual-tone theme, and it gets a new steering wheel with mounted controls. It also gets an 8-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which looks similar to that of the Renault Triber. The Gravite also features rear AC vents, a dashcam, and a fully digital instrument cluster. In terms of safety, the Gravite comes equipped with more than 45 active and passive safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill start assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and more.

Nissan Gravite MPV: Engine Specs
Similar to its design elements and interior layout, the Nissan Gravite MPV also shares its engine with the Renault Triber. As anticipated, it comes equipped with a 1.0-litre petrol engine similar to the Triber. The engine can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 72 hp and 96 Nm, respectively.
