Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Price And Specifications: Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the most affordable SUV in its vehicle lineup in India. The new SUV, called the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has been launched at a starting price of Rs 7.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Under the partnership with Maruti Suzuki, the Urban Cruiser Taisor is based on the Fronx crossover SUV. While both vehicles share the same foundation, Toyota has distinguished the Urban Cruiser Taisor with its unique styling, giving it a distinct identity. The decision of choosing between the two SUVs is completely subjective as per the customer preferences, considering both the vehicles are identical in terms of performance. 

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor - Design 

The Urban Cruiser Taisor shares similar proportions with the Fronx but flaunts a new front fascia for a unique appearance. The subcompact SUV features a revamped honeycomb mesh grille in glossy black finish, complemented by new twin LED DRLs. Additionally, the SUV showcases updated LED tail lights connected via a sleek light bar at the back, along with new alloy wheels. 

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor - Interior

Moving inside, the Urban Cruiser Taisor interior resembles that of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument console with a MID unit in the center. Additionally, it features a distinctive dual-tone treatment for the cabin. In terms of features, the Taisor is well-equipped with advanced features such as an automatic climate control system, connected car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, cruise control, automatic LED headlamps, a six-speaker sound system, push-button start/stop and rear AC vents. 

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor - Engine Specifications

The new Toyota Taisor is available with two engine options - a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The 1.2-litre engine generates 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the 1.0-litre turbo unit produces 99 bhp and 148 Nm of peak torque. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the naturally aspirated engine can be paired with a 5-speed AMT, while the turbo petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed torque converter. Furthermore, there is an option for a CNG powertrain as well.
