Bihar Weather: The weather in Bihar has been extremely harsh recently, with temperatures steadily rising. In the past 24 hours, Saran recorded the highest temperature, surpassing 40 degrees Celsius. However, the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating potential changes in the weather, with storms and rain expected in several districts.

In the next two days, the maximum temperature in most parts of Bihar is expected to rise by 1 to 3 degrees. Temperatures are likely to range between 35 to 40 degrees Celsius across many districts. According to the Bihar Meteorological Service Centre, Saran district recorded the highest temperature of 40.1 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours.

The highest temperature was recorded in the Mashrakh block of Saran. Other areas saw the following temperatures: Gopalganj at 39.2°C, Siwan at 39.4°C, Kishanganj at 34.2°C, Supaul at 36.4°C, Samastipur at 38.9°C, Vaishali at 39.4°C, Purnia at 36.8°C, Bhagalpur at 39.2°C, Munger at 39.8°C, Banka at 39.3°C, Jamui at 39.3°C, and Gaya at 39.4°C.

Storm And Rain Alert For Bihar

A thunderstorm and rain alert has been issued for Bihar on April 7 and 8. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms, light rain, and lightning in several districts of northeastern Bihar on April 7. On April 8, similar weather conditions are expected in parts of northeastern, south-central, southeast, and north-central Bihar.
