Railway News: To address the rising passenger demand, the Railways have announced the operation of two pairs of unreserved special trains between Kolkata and Siwan, aimed at offering more convenient and efficient travel options for passengers.

The announcement was made by Asansol PRO in a press release on Thursday, November 6, Jagran.com reported.

05583/05584 Kolkata-Siwan-Kolkata Special Train

- Kolkata-Siwan Unreserved Special: Train Number 05583 Kolkata-Siwan unreserved special train will depart from Kolkata at 6:00 PM on November 7, reaching Siwan at 11:00 AM the next day.

- Siwan-Kolkata Unreserved Special: Similarly, train number 05584 Siwan-Kolkata unreserved special train will leave Siwan at 9:55 on November 6 and reach Kolkata at 3:00 AM the next day.

- Stoppages: In its journey, the Kolkata-Siwan-Kolkata unreserved special train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations under the Asansol division.

05085/05086 Kolkata-Siwan-Kolkata Special Train

To accommodate growing passenger traffic, the Railway will operate two unreserved special trains between Kolkata and Siwan from November 7 to 9.

- Kolkata-Siwan Unreserved Special: Train number 05085 Kolkata-Siwan unreserved special train is scheduled to leave Kolkata at 6:00 PM on November 8 and 9, arriving in Siwan at 1:45 PM the following day.

- Siwan-Kolkata Unreserved Special: Train number 05086 Siwan-Kolkata unreserved special train will depart from Siwan at 6:15 PM on November 7 and 8 and reach Kolkata the next day at 3:00 PM.
